All instruments available for rent are either new or used brand name instruments and are guaranteed to be in good playing condition.

Due to our extremely low rates, rental instruments are not for sale.

You can return your instrument at any time. However, due to the special rates and conditions that we are providing through our flat-rate rental program, we do not offer partial refunds on early returns.

Previously rented instruments undergo a full refurbishment and sterilization before being made available for rent.

All of our rental instruments are inspected and played by our quality assurance professionals to ensure that your instrument arrives with no surprises.

You can exchange your instrument at any time during the rental period for another size or type of instrument. You only pay the difference in rental rate and shipping charges if applicable. (For example: you can start a 9-month violin rental and exchange it for a trumpet 4 months later.)

You have the option of purchasing damage protection during your rental term. See description. If you do not purchase damage protection you will be responsible for any damage that might be incurred by the instrument while you are renting.

If you are a member of Children’s Music Workshop we will deliver your instrument to your school and pick it up from your school at the end of your rental term FREE OF CHARGE. You are responsible for contacting us when you have returned your instrument.

All other customers will be charged a flat-rate shipping fee that covers the shipment of the instrument to you and back from you. You will receive a convenient shipping packet with your instrument that includes your shipping label and easy to follow instructions. DO NOT DISCARD PACKAGING MATERIALS.

If you are late returning your rental instrument or if you do not inform us of your intentions to renew your rental period, we will continue to charge you a prevailing monthly default rate on a month-to-month basis until we receive the instrument.

ALL RENTAL INSTRUMENTS REMAIN THE PROPERTY OF STRING SEASON WHILE BEING RENTED.

If you would like to accrue credit toward the ownership of an instrument we highly recommend that you take advantage of our Lease-To-Own program! When leasing, all instruments start out new, you can cancel at any time with no obligation, you can change instruments at any time and every payment gets you closer to owning the instrument.
