ABOUT THE PICCOLO
The Piccolo is the highest pitched member of the woodwind family. Like the flute, sound is produced by blowing air across the
top of the hole in the headjoint. The piccolo is very similar to the flute except that it is much smaller and has a higher pitch range.
Piccolos are usually made of silver or wood.
Our intermediate level piccolos are silver-plated and very durable. They have a conical bore,
with pilot screws, high grade pads and tempered springs as a standard part of their construction. Piccolos
come in a molded case.
